Minding My Own Business

I knew it was time to go shopping, but I didn’t want to pay pay full price for clothing that will only fit for a month or so as I continued on my quest to my ultimate dress size.
This got me thinking…if that was my dilemma, chances are it is other dieter’s dilemma as well. So I then started wondering, how one could provide a service to fill that need. It was then the concept of SizeXchange started unravelling and since then it has evolved into something much bigger…however, the basic idea is that it is a clothes swap auction…working similar to ‘feebay’ (hehehe!) but instead of auctioning for money the clothes are actually auctioned for points. The more of your larger clothes you put up for auction that are successfully exchanged the more points you accrue which you can use to bid on items in the size that you need when you need it. Simple really really but quite complex when you are in the position I and my web-developers are in trying to customise the programming to work that way. I had hoped that we would be up and running closer to the beginning of the year but now it is looking like we could be waiting a bit longer…The response I have received to this concept even before we have launched has been exciting and quite overwhelming…who would have thought that dieters are virtually crying out for such a service.
I’ll let you in on a secret though…If you sign up for our pre-launch newsletter you will be not only one of the first to know when we are approaching launch but all our newsletter subscribers will get access to a 60-day free period to try the service out for themselves.
Anyhow, enough plugging for today.
